Tooth Troop is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization providing onsite, preventative dental services and education to children and their families and contributing to generations of cavity-free children.
Create an affordable and available means to provide preventative dental hygiene services to children.
Go to the children. They are comfortable with their peers in their schools.
Offer culturally appropriate oral health education to parents and caregivers.
Develop a sustaining strategy that provides reimbursement for services through existing mechanisms such as insurance companies and state health plans.
Oregon school children are not getting basic healthcare, nor are they receiving the preventative education to help empower them to take the simple, effective measures to maintain their oral health.
