Tooth Troop is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization providing onsite, preventative dental services and education to children and their families and contributing to generations of cavity-free children.
Imagine the dental clinic on wheels arriving to the local elementary school, and all the children know its "dental week." They are excited because they know they might get to have their teeth cleaned and get a new toothbrush. They'll get to "go to the dentist" with their friends. They'll be reminded about healthy snacks and how to brush, floss and take care of their teeth and health. Their parents didn't have to take time off from work or fear losing their jobs in order to seek care. The parents like the fact that their children can now receive preventive services and know that a licensed qualified dental professional is providing preventive treatment for their children on a regular basis; looking in their children's mouths and helping them find a child-friendly dentist who can and will treat their children if they have a cavity.
